We Reduce Barriers
Haven Toronto is a safe and welcoming drop-in centre for elder men (50+) who are experiencing homelessness, precarious housing, or social isolation. Located at 170 Jarvis Street, Toronto, Haven is open seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Men over 50 needing assistance can access these services by walking in the door and asking for our help. It’s a place where men can connect with others, access essential services, and find respect and community.
At Haven, we offer:
Nutritious Meals
Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a snack.
Basic Needs
Showers, laundry facilities, and access to clean clothing and hygiene supplies
Grooming
Free monthly haircuts, offered by volunteer barbers
Health & Wellness
Onsite healthcare services, including nursing, dental hygiene, and foot care
Housing Supports
Counselling and case management support, including help with housing applications, income supports, and mental health
Financial Service Support
ID and tax clinics to help members access vital documents and financial resources
Recreation
Creative and recreational programming, including bingo, art workshops, music, and movie screenings
Social Spaces
A courtyard and lounge where members can relax and build friendships in a safe environment
