Matt Talbot Housing
Program
Transitional and Supportive Housing
The Matt Talbot Housing Program offers transitional housing stays of up to 18 months for self-identified men and non-binary people who have recently completed substance use treatment. Our Carlton location offers stays of up to four years through a partnership with Habitat Services.
Participants in Housing work with our case coordinators on an integrated care plan that supports social reconnection and recovery through one-on-one case management, group supports, and access to supportive counselling.
Applicants may be referred by St. Michael’s Homes Bed-based Treatment, by another external treatment program, or by self-referral. Waitlist clients are required to check-in with Housing staff regularly, and are encouraged to access additional supports through Engagement, Continuing Care, or Psychotherapy.
